- Note that QEMU can also emulate Mac OS X 10.0 up to 10.5. At some point in the near future hopefully, QEMU will fully replace SheepShaver, but at the moment, SheepShaver still runs faster in most situations. I let a Macbook Pro 17' (MacBookPro8,3) update automatically to Mac OS X 10.9.5 during the night while I was away.
It still says '10.9.4' under 'About this Mac', while it also shows the 10.9.5 update being applied in the App Store > Updates. See Screenshot:
Using Terminal, sw_vers -productVersion also shows 10.9.4 as the current version running.
Anyone else have this happen with this update?
Nothing seems to be amiss, but obviously I'd much rather have the update happen. What's the best way to fix this? Running the 10.9.5 Combo update comes to mind, but I'd love to hear others who might be in the same boat, and what the best way to make sure to upgrade is.
